Sunday, July 25, 2010 -We are very pleased to announce that our girl, Gableridge Nicklaus Heart N Soul, "Solo" , has achieved her Canadian Championship. Shown only four times in an all breed ring, she is owner handled and she finished in style with a group 1st. Many thanks to Judge H. Glendinning for her wonderful comments and for recognizing Solo's superb type, movement and temperament.
Saturday July 10, 2010 -We are pleased to announce that our Boy Kenlyn's Shogun v. Northill "Gunner" has achieved his Canadian championship. With limited showing.
Friday July 3, 2009
-We are very excited to announce the results of Solo's futurity show in Guelph Ontario and her exciting Specialty show debut. Solo won her teenage class in the futurity under judge Jim Randall and was seriously considered for reserve futurity under tough competition. On Sunday, Solo won her 9-12 puppy class under judge Frank Fasano and went on the win Best Puppy in specialty show. We owe our thanks to Sylvain Genereux for his excellent and sensitive handling and advice and to Anna Ramoundos for her support. Thanks too to all those who offered thier ringside support for Solo at her very first specialty show! Solo was the only puppy in her litter which makes her accomplishments all the more sweet.
Wednesday May 20
-We will be at the Ottawa Dog Show this weekend in Richmond. Keep an eye open for us. German shepherd show schedule is as follows: Friday 10:00 am Ring 2, Saturday 2:30pm Ring 3, Sunday 1:00 pm ring 1
Saturday May 8
- We are excited to announce some wonderful wins for our girls this weekend at the Arnprior Dog Show. This was Solo's first show, from the 9-12 month old puppy class she won Best of Breed and Best Puppy, following it up with a group third placing under Judge A. Bosa of Argentina.
On Saturday Pippin won Best of Breed against some tough competition, and followed it up with an impressive group 2 win under judge R. Fehler of SK. Sunday was equally exciting with Pippin winning Best of Breed again. All our dogs were owner handled! yes it is possible.

- Show handling classes will be starting Saturday May 16. Check out the training page for more information. -Arnprior Canine Association show times for German Shepherds: Friday May 8, 2:50 pm Ring 1, Saturday May 9, 5pm Ring 1, Sunday May 10, 10am Ring 3. Show location is at the Arnprior Arena.

-We have a new addition here at Gableridge, her name is Tessa! she is only 4 months old and will soon have a page of her own. Her Daddy is that impressive boy 2007 Grand US Grand Victor WeLove DuChein's Army of One and her mom is the lovely Signature's Ariel. Check out the "our dogs" page for a sneak preview picture of her. (let us know what you think of the improvements!)
-We have made some improvements to the site. Adding some pictures to the Our dogs page. Also check out the new picture of Solo. She growing up into a lovely girl.
-We are planning to attend the first show of the season. It is in Petawawa Easter Weekend, April 10, 11 and 12 at the Petawawa Civic Center. We will post show times for german sheperds as they become available.
