Adoption Process

All planned litters are posted on the planned litters page as soon as we have completed our research and finalized a breeding plan. If you send us an email or give us a call we will add you to our reservation list for future litters.

Current and Planned Litters

Here at Gableridge German Shepherds we take our job as breeders very seriously.  We take great care to ensure that the dogs in our breeding program are sound and that puppy owners are matched with the puppy that fits their needs and lifestyle.

Adults and Youngsters

Occasionally we have young adults
from the breeding program
available for adoption.  These can
be females and males who have
retired from breeding or younger
males and females that we have kept back from a litter to evaluate for show or breeding purposes.

Our kennel dogs make excellent companions, with time and patience they adjust well to their new homes and thrive on the attention and love provided by their new owners.

We also assist our puppy buyers should they be in a situation where their adult puppy needs to be re-homed.

Pictures and background information on adult dogs will be posted here.

Please check back frequently or contact us directly to find out whether there might be an adult available in the near future.

Gableridge Just a Little Storm -  Aka "Iris"

Iris  has found her forever home. Thank you for your interest.

Iris is now available for adoption.  She  is a lovely young female and will make an companion dog for a household that is less active and with no very young children.  Iris is just a year old. She is CKC registered, microchipped and fully vaccinated.  Her health has been excellent other than an occasional front limp.  This has been assessed by an orthopedic specialist and does not appear to be a serious issue at this time.
