About The Event

 In January 2018 the CKC initiated a title recognition program for dogs achieving barn hunt titles at events hosted by the Barn Hunt Association and recognized BHA clubs in both Canada and the US.   

This workshop will focus on Barn Hunt Association (BHA) rules and procedures and will include: Intro to Rats, basics of hunting, negotiating straw tunnels, Instinct course and some games.  

Registration:  Working Spots limited to 8 dogs and handlers.  Audit spots handlers ( with no dogs) will also be allowed. Auditors will be actively participating in the workshop and will be asked to take on duties in the barn hunt ring.

Fee:  $120 working spot,  $60 for audit spot.  **Working spots will be reserved in order of payment received. 

Lunch will be served and is included in the registration fee.  

Location: Event will be held under cover, Dogs will be kept in vehicles or in crates with their owners when not in working session. Handlers are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.  

Cancellation Policy: No refunds issued  after Oct 15  unless spot is filled from wait list and may be subject to a $5 processing fee
