**REGISTERING FROM A CELL PHONE??  

Find the date of the event you want to sign up for.  Click on the small calendar on the upper right of the scheduler, under the title.  Click on the date of your event.  When the event date comes up, click the register button and register in the normal way.

PRIVATE VS. PRACTICE

PLEASE CONSIDER CAREFULLY WHETHER YOU NEED A PRIVATE LESSON TO WORK ON A SPECIFIC ISSUE OR WHETHER YOU JUST NEED TO PRACTICE!  Private lessons are intended to provide you with guidance on how to solve specific issues you are having  or will be facing.  For example you may wish to book private lessons:

  •  IF YOU ARE JUST STARTING..  and you can't get to an intro workshop, you can book private lessons to get started.

  • IF YOU ARE MOVING UP A LEVEL YOU MAY BOOK PRIVATE LESSONS TO WORK ON MULTIPLE RATS, MORE COMPLEX FINDS ETC. 

  •  IF YOU ARE STARTING AT MASTER LEVEL YOU MAY decide to  BOOK PRIVATE LESSONS TO WORK ON reading your dog when he/she has FOUND ALL THE RATS or encouraging your dog to work independently.

  •  IF you wish to work on improving indicators, systematic searching, control in the ring, or tunnels a private less on can help.

The more specific you are about the problem you are having or what you wish to work on, the easier it will be to set up your lesson.

IF you are not sure and need to figure out what you need to work on please attend a practice session at your level!

PRIVATE LESSONS RULES:  ($35 per half hour )

  • Are first come first served.  ***I reserve the right to prioritize clients based on needs, and may cancel a booking based on this.***

  • You may book ONE 30 min. session per DOG per day.  You MAY work more than one dog in one day, and book one session for each

  • Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • The schedule will be  updated periodically please  keep an eye on the calendar.  Please consider others, there are limited numbers of lessons and lots of people interested in training.

  • YOU MUST let me know what you wish to work on, what level you are at .. specifics please .. no generalities eg. motivation.  This helps me design a  lesson for you and makes better use of your time. If you do not comply we will spend the first 10 minutes discussing what you wish to do and setting up for it.

  • Bring your own water, shade and crate. (Dogs cannot be left in vehicles with only windows down during summer months) .

PRACTICE SESSIONS RULES: ($24 for 3 runs @ I, N,or O levels $32 for 3 runs @ S, or  M levels)

  • To maximize flexibility, Practice sessions are divided into 1. Instinct, Novice, Open and 2.  Senior, Master levels. ***I reserve the right to prioritize clients based on needs, and may cancel a booking based on this.***

  • 3-4 teams per GROUP practice and a Max of 3 runs per dog per day remains in place. (handlers may work with multiple dogs but in different blinds)

  • When you register you are automatically registered for three blinds/runs.  GROUP practice will be divided into 4 blinds of three each, at least one person will be out of the blind to act as wrangler during the practice.

  • You may choose the level you are working at for each blind based on the type of practice indicated. FOR EXAMPLE: you may work a dog at Novice in blind one and two and a different dog at Open in blind 3

  • Start time is indicated, time for  completion of practice is approximate. 

  • Run orders for GROUP practice will be determined once registration is full.

  • Registrations close 24 hours before the practice starts, in order to allow time to set courses and blind orders.

  • For all practice, participants must be ON TIME

  • Participants in group practice  will be asked to assist at ringside when not in the blind, and remain until the end of practice.

  • COST:  $24 for  3 runs/blinds for Instinct, Novice or Open.  $32 for 3 runs/blinds for Senior, Master.

PAYMENT

  • Private lessons:  $35 per half hour session

  • Practice:  Instinct, Novice or Open practice $24 for three runs/blinds.  Senior, Master, Crazy 8 practice $32 for three runs/blinds

  • Payment in cash on day of practice/lesson is preferred.
